HPCL, as a responsible Corporate Citizen, has practiced the CSR model of "Creating Shared Values", by reaching out to the stakeholders, community and society who are directly or indirectly involved in its business operations. It has identified four focus areas for its CSR Programs - Child Care & Education, Health Care, Skill Development and Community Development to make a difference to the underprivileged. HPCL’s CSR activities primarily focuses on identifying gaps in the existing system of the delivery to society and intervening meaningfully with them, so as to create a long-term, sustainable impact; rather than create parallel systems.
NPCIL has been implementing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects since its inception as
per the commitment to economic and social development of the community living around 16 Km radius
from all its Units. CSR programme is generally implemented as per the identified need of the
community. The thrust areas for CSR projects are: education, healthcare, infrastructure development,
skill development, sustainable development and other general projects.
India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) has been actively contributing towards welfare of various weaker sections of the society under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. During the period 2011-12 to 2014-15, ITPO has made contribution amounting Rs.1.44 crores for various activities.
Maintaining the continuity of CSR initiatives for the year 2015-16, an amount of Rs. One Crore each towards “Swachh Bharat Kosh” and “Clean Ganga Fund” of Govt. of India was contributed.
